It is not sure the water fracturing method will continue, and the United States in this regard will be announced prohibitions. These questions are still unknown. The vice president of “IHS Industry Summit” James Burkhard said, lots of people has not enough cognitive about shale gas fracturing development with hydraulic fracturing technology.
James said, hydraulic fracturing in the oil and gas exploration industry, even before the emergence of unconventional shale gas fracturing development has been applied and excited for decades. It is same to any oil and gas industry technical ways, if handle well, there is small or no harm to the environment. Just like we undertake constructions industry, when we build new buildings, we need to comply with many standards. If we completely according to this standard, so the impact on the environment and the harm will minimize.
At present we should let the public and decision makers know more about the shale gas fracturing development. When people say the dangers of hydraulic fracturing method, in fact, they understand little. The three sides include: public, environment policy makers and industry practitioners should according to the fact, then make a dialogue between the positive and negative sides, so that will benefit the development of the industry and make the best decision.
